PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) held a foundation stone laying ceremony for its Olefins Reconfiguration Project, Propylene Oxide Project, and Polyols Project, which involves building the production facilities for upstream and downstream chemicals in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
The projects will enhance Thailand’s economic growth and drive Thailand to be economic center of ASEAN. The Minister of Energy presided over the ceremony, which took place at the construction site for the Olefins Reconfiguration Project at Olefins 1 Plant in Rayong. The projects will help economic growth of surrounding communities and create job opportunities for locals.
